    8D是一種運用團隊、有步驟性地解決問題的工具,通常是客戶所抱怨的問題要求公司分析,並提出永久解決及改善的方法,作業完成時輸出8D報告,由於共有8個階段,以8個Discipline定義,故簡稱8D或8D Report。經常被品保單位運用於客訴回覆依據。項目包括:

    Discipline 0. Prepare for the 8D Process
    行前準備:判斷是否適用以8D程序來解決問題。

    Discipline 1. Establish the Team
    成立小組:通常是跨功能性的,由相關人員組成。

    Discipline 2. Describe the Problem
    描述問題:使用顧客術語定義問題,並利用5W1H方式將問題定義並收集問題資料。

    臨時對策:顧客無法接受缺失就需要採取暫時遏止行動。

    肯定團隊與個人貢獻:對團隊努力表達肯定,並完成8D報告。
